Here's a fun little family shoot we did not too long ago. The leaves are starting to fall, but they really wanted a summer look for their photos, so, with the right wardrobe, and some tall sunflowers, I think we were able to pull it off!

This must be the season for seniors! It was such a blast getting to know Natalie! She was such a good sport and was up to anything! And when we say anything, we mean posing outside a pizza cafe while people ate and watched, standing in the road, laying on a bench in a train station and sitting in the dirt. We think it was all worth it though...

Catherine was such a great sport! We squeezed this shoot in just before it started to rain, but she didn't complain even when she started to get wet! She was so cute, LOVE her freckles and blue eyes!

This photo session with Roxy was definitely one of our favorites this summer! Pretty sure she didn't take a bad photo...not one! It was so hard choosing which ones to share. Roxy is one of the sweetest, most beautiful girls you'll ever meet, and the best part about her is that she is just as beautiful on the inside as she is on the outside. ~Enjoy!~

Brianna is a good family friend, so we were excited when she asked us to do some photos to put on her business website. She has created some really great products and teaches some awesome classes about cleaning with safe, chemical-free cleaners that you can make at home! She gave us a bottle of her all-purpose cleaner as a little thank you gift, and I LOVE it! It smells so good, and it cleans wonderfully! To check out her website, click here!

Family shoots are so great! Especially when the family loves to laugh! We loved their coordinating (but not matching) clothes. The gray and pink color scheme turned out great in the photos!

We've been busy with lots of shoots this summer, and we've had tons of fun with all our families, but there is something so great about shooting seniors! Maybe it's their willingness to sit/stand in about anything to get a great shot :) We love being able to get creative and try new things with our seniors. A few weeks ago, this wonderful family called us to do an family shoot. This session was one of our favorites by far that we have done! They were so relaxed, fun and easy to work with! The guys even pulled out some toys and had fun buzzing up and down the driveway while we caught some shots! Here are some of our favorite moments from the day:

We are so behind on posting Addi's baby pictures! Every month we take pictures of her that will eventually go in a special album of outlining her first year. Here are the pictures of her at three and four months. It's amazing how much she has grown in such a short time!

Josh is an old friend of mine from high school, and now I get to be friends with his beautiful fiance! We were cracking up laughing during the whole shoot. It all started in the car on the way to our location when Josh pulled out a mirror to practice his smile. It just went downhill from there! We're so glad we got to spend the afternoon with these two! These two sweet girls are redecorating the room they share and wanted some fun, up-dated pictures of them together to hang on the walls. We've known this family for many years and it was fun to see how they've grown and changed. These two were so cute together, but had distinctly different personalities! Like usual, we had a blast!

We even convinced Mom to jump in for a couple shots!

What could be cuter than a family of four when two of them are twins! Nothing! We had so much fun chasing after these four-year-olds and doing everything we could to get "real" smiles. They were so fun!

We have had four photo shoots in three days, which means we have a lot of editing to catch up on! But we had to post one of our favs from this engagement session yesterday! Josh and Charlotte are so cute together and we had so much fun doing this shoot, what a blast they are! Josh is a long-time friend of our family and so that made it all the more fun! A Spring Wedding

We had the pleasure of taking the pictures for a good family friend a couple weeks ago. What a blast! They were up for anything, even climbing onto an old caboose! These two were so cute together (never had to ask them twice to kiss!) and made our job so easy. Thanks guys for such a fun day!

It feels like it's been forever since we last posted! We have a wedding coming up this weekend, which we are excited for, and a couple other fun projects ahead of us, so hopefully we will have more to share in the coming months.

We took a quick trip down to Utah recently to visit family. While there, we had so much fun taking pictures of my (J in K&J) best friend and her husband. They were up for anything, so we did a little exploring and had fun trying some new places. Becca is the most wonderful, beautiful girl; the greatest friend anyone could ask for. She and her husband are so kind, warm, and just fun, we had a blast! Thanks Becca for letting us take these fun "love" shots!

They even brought their cute dog, Henry, for a family shot!

Sometimes during a photo shoot, we come up with a great idea of a shot to take. And sometimes, it just doesn't work. At all. Here is one such idea...

Wouldn't it be cute to take a pic of big brother helping little sister get a drink. Yes! Except...

Big brother just didn't know exactly how to do that and still look good in a photo! C'mon!

It still did make for some really funny shots and a lot of laughs!

A December Wedding

Before Christmas, we had the opportunity to shoot the beautiful wedding of Kyle and Ashley! What a fun (ok, a little long too!) day! Ashley has a cousin who is a wonderful photographer in Utah, she came and took pictures the day before and the morning of the wedding, but wasn't able to make it to the reception. We're so grateful we were able to be there for the rest of the day. Kyle and Ashley were such a lovely couple, it was so fun to watch them interact with each other and those around them. Here are a few memories of the night.

What a cute, sweet family! We loved taking pictures of them and chasing their little one around. He definitely wasn't about to sit still and have his picture taken!
